Next Meeting

At the next meeting we will introduce new officers and have an extended show and tell segment in order to ease us into the new year. There may also be a Gesneriad Society slide show.
Holiday Party

As is tradition, there was no December meeting, therefore no minutes to report. We had our annual Holiday Party on December 20 at the Lakeside Cafe, Ocean Ave, San Francisco with 18 members enjoying a lunch paid for by the Club. Many members exchanged gifts, some enjoyed some wine, desserts, and all had good conversations. A fun time. Some members had to cancel at the last minute because of illness. We wish them well and look forward to seeing them at the next meeting.
I watched the Pasadena Rose Parade on New Years Day on TV and caught just a glimpse of Debra LaVergne on the float of IOOF and Rebecca. Unfortunately the camera did not zoom in on the float so we would get a better look at Debra.

2009 Meetings: Usually third Sunday of each month, 1-4 p.m. at Library of County Fair Bldg., Golden Gate Park, San Francisco. (Enter from parking lot North side of 10th Avenue and Lincoln Blvd., turn right through gate next to building, go to third door)
January 18, February 15, March 22 (note date is 4th Sunday), April 19, May 17, June 21, July 19,
August 16, September 20, October 18, November 15. Dates and location may change because of
field trips.
