The Prez Sez...

Greetings to you all! Last month saw a great trip to Annie's Annuals, where we saw a bewildering variety of plants. The place is huge. All the plants looked in good condition, and while not gesneriads, covered a wide range of garden plants. If you didn't make it, let me recommend that you take time to go.
Our program this month will include the usual activities plus a report on the Gesneriad society Convention, which I was not able to attend, but those who did will tell us about it.
I've been checking out the plants for the San Mateo County Fair. It's hard to say what will be in bloom a month from now! I have also sent a copy of our September show schedule for approval for the Gesneriad Society Best of Show ribbon. So be grooming and pampering your beauties for that ribbon!

Brazilplants Seed List

All of you received the list of seeds available from Brazilplants. If you did not get the list please let me know so I can get it to you. Our Club membership entitles us to 6 seed packets every four months. The latest four-month period ends August 1.
I have received a request from only one member. If any of you would like a packet of seeds please let me know what you want by email or at the July meeting. I will then dispatch your desires, with alternates, to Brazilplants.
